The roads in Ryde are generally packed in the morning and evenings due to office vehicles commuting between Sydney City & Parramatta. We always recommend extra care for learner’s who start out in Ryde due to the multi lane roads like Lane Cove Road & Victoria Road and the general heavy traffic presence. Ryde has many speed limits, bus lanes, schools zones, speed cameras and driving here will expose you to a variety of driving conditions.

Driver test parking bays at Macquarie Shopping Centre can be accessed via the Waterloo Road Express Carpark entrance. Take the first left where you see Ultratune and Big W signs and follow the map below to find allocated driver testing parking bays.



Where else can I take the test?

If Macquarie centre doesn’t suit you, other close driving test centres are Silverwater and Castle Hill.
